Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 31, 2026
Last updated: August 31, 2026

1. Introduction

Belleza Hotel (“Belleza Hotel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices available to you.

This Policy applies to bellezahotel.com (the “Site”), to our online booking engine, and to the information we collect when you contact us, stay with us, or interact with our marketing communications. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, which are governed by their own privacy policies.

By using the Site or making a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide to us

  • Identification and contact data: first and last name, email address, telephone number, postal address, country of residence, and, where legally required at check-in, government-issued identification or passport details.
  • Reservation data: arrival and departure dates, room type, number and identity of guests, rate plan, special requests, accessibility needs, dietary preferences, loyalty or corporate account numbers, and stay history.
  • Payment data: cardholder name, payment card number, expiration date and security code, or other billing details. Card data is processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment providers; we do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
  • Communications: the content of emails, contact forms, chat messages, telephone calls (which may be recorded where permitted by law and with prior notice), reviews, and survey responses.
  • Marketing preferences: your consent to receive newsletters, offers, and promotional communications, and any subsequent withdrawal of that consent.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and connection data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, language settings, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, dates and times of access, referring and exit pages, search terms used on the Site, clicks, scroll depth, and booking-funnel events (for example, “search performed,” “rate selected,” “reservation completed”).
  • Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 4.

2.3 Information from third parties

  • Online travel agencies and booking channels (for example Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, or global distribution systems), which transmit your reservation details to us.
  • Travel agents, tour operators, and corporate travel managers who book on your behalf.
  • Advertising and analytics platforms, which provide us with aggregated or pseudonymous measurement data about our campaigns.
  • Social media platforms, when you interact with our pages or use a social login.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To process, confirm, modify, and cancel reservations, and to manage your stay, including check-in, check-out, billing, and guest services.
  • To respond to your inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • To process payments, prevent chargebacks, and detect and prevent fraud, security incidents, and other unlawful activity.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including guest-registration, tax, accounting, and law-enforcement requirements.
  • To personalize your experience and remember your preferences.
  • To send you transactional messages (booking confirmations, pre-arrival information, receipts) and, where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law, marketing communications.
  • To conduct analytics, measure the performance of our website and advertising, and improve our services.
  • To operate and optimize our advertising, including the enhanced conversions described in Section 5.
  • To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, and local storage to operate the Site and to understand how it is used. We use the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies, required for the Site and the booking engine to function, including session management and security. These cannot be disabled.
  • Functional cookies, which remember your preferences such as language, currency, and previous searches.
  • Analytics cookies, which help us measure traffic and understand how visitors use the Site (for example, Google Analytics).
  • Advertising cookies, which are used to deliver relevant advertising, to build audiences, to limit the number of times you see an ad, and to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns (for example, Google Ads and Meta).

You may control cookies at any time through your browser settings, which allow you to block or delete them, although doing so may prevent parts of the Site or the booking engine from working correctly. You may also ask us to stop using your information for advertising purposes at any time, as described in Section 10.

5. Advertising, Measurement, and Google Ads Enhanced Conversions

We want to be fully transparent about how we measure and optimize our advertising, because this involves sharing personal information with an advertising partner.

What we share. Belleza Hotel collects and shares personal information with our advertising partners — specifically Google LLC (“Google Ads”) — for the purpose of enabling and operating a feature known as enhanced conversions. The personal information used for this purpose may include:

  • your first and last name;
  • your email address;
  • your telephone number;
  • your postal address (street, city, state or region, postal code, and country); and
  • reservation data associated with your booking, such as the reservation identifier, booking date, stay dates, and transaction value.

How it is transmitted. This information is encoded into an irreversible form before it is transmitted, so that our advertising partner receives a coded value rather than your plain-text details, and uses it only to match a reservation to an existing advertising account where such a match exists. The transaction value, currency, and date of the reservation are transmitted in clear form so that the conversion can be measured.

Why we do it. The purpose of this processing is to measure the results of our advertising accurately — that is, to determine which advertisements lead to actual reservations — to improve the relevance of the advertising we show, to optimize our bidding and budget, and to reduce wasted advertising spend. It is not used to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you, and it does not affect the rate or the conditions of your reservation.

Legal basis and choice. The Site and our services are directed to guests in the United States. We rely on our legitimate interest in measuring and improving our marketing, together with the notice provided in this Policy. You may object to this processing at any time and we will stop sharing your information for this purpose: simply write to us at the address in Section 15, as described in Section 10. Under certain U.S. state privacy laws, this activity may be considered a “sale” or a “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; the same opt-out applies.

Google’s role. Google processes this information as an independent controller for certain purposes and as our processor for others, in accordance with its own terms. You can review how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can manage your Google advertising settings at adssettings.google.com.

We also use other advertising and analytics services, which may include Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and Microsoft Advertising. A current list of the technologies in use, and their purposes, is available on request by writing to us.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We disclose personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers, who process data on our behalf and under contract: property management and booking-engine providers, payment processors, email and CRM platforms, hosting and IT-support providers, review-management platforms, and professional advisors.
  • Advertising and analytics partners, as described in Section 5.
  • Booking channels and travel intermediaries, where your reservation originated with them or where they act on your behalf.
  • Corporate group and affiliates, where applicable, for administrative and operational purposes.
  • Public authorities, where disclosure is required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or a lawful request from law enforcement, or where necessary to protect our rights, property, or the safety of our guests and staff.
  • In connection with a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

7. Legal Bases for Processing

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or an equivalent law applies to you, we process your personal information on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (managing your reservation and stay); compliance with a legal obligation (guest registration, tax, and accounting requirements); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement, and direct marketing to existing guests); and consent (advertising and analytics cookies, enhanced conversions where consent is required, and marketing communications where consent is required). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Reservation and billing records are generally retained for seven (7) years in order to meet tax, accounting, and legal-defense requirements. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or until twenty-four (24) months of inactivity. Website analytics and advertising data are retained according to the retention periods configured in the relevant platform, typically no longer than fourteen (14) months. When information is no longer required, we delete it or irreversibly anonymize it.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. These include encryption of data in transit (TLS), access controls on a need-to-know basis, staff confidentiality obligations and training, use of PCI-DSS compliant payment processors, and regular review of our systems. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the competent authorities where required by law.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to the law applicable to you, you may exercise the following rights:

  • Access — obtain confirmation of whether we process your personal information and receive a copy of it.
  • Correction — request that inaccurate or incomplete information be rectified.
  • Deletion — request erasure of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations.
  • Restriction and objection — request that we limit our processing, or object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including profiling for marketing purposes.
  • Portability — receive the information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent previously given, at any time.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — including the enhanced conversions described in Section 5. Write to us at [email protected] and we will stop sharing your information for advertising purposes. You may also manage the advertising you receive from Google at adssettings.google.com and control cookies through your browser settings.
  • Unsubscribe from marketing — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact us directly.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 14. We will verify your identity before responding and will reply within the period required by applicable law. You may authorize an agent to act on your behalf, subject to verification. If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

11. International Transfers

We are located in the United States, and the personal information we collect is processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those of your country of residence. Where we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where necessary.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information other than the details a parent or guardian provides when including a minor in a reservation. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including booking channels, mapping services, and social networks. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Where the changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice, and, where required, we will request your renewed consent.
